Northern Hills LOSS Team

The Northern Hills LOSS team consists of peers, professionals, and volunteers who respond with compassion after suicide. All volunteers have personally experienced a loss by suicide.

A close-up of a cozy corner in a small resource room, centered on a folded, heather-blue fleece blanket resting on the arm of a charcoal fabric armchair. A ceramic mug of herbal tea with faint steam sits on a round, light-oak side table along with a single, closed journal and a pen. In the softly blurred background, a tall floor lamp with a linen shade casts warm, diffused light that pools gently across the scene, creating subtle, comforting shadows. Shot from a slightly elevated angle in photographic realism, the composition emphasizes warmth, quiet support, and a safe space for grief, with muted, calming colors and a clean, professional aesthetic.

About Northern Hills LOSS Team

Northern Hills LOSS Team began with survivors and clinicians partnering to offer immediate, compassionate, peer-based support after suicide loss.

Through partnering with local law enforcement agencies, schools and area nonprofits – we seek to ensure that no one is alone in their suicide grief.
